Aren't the police efficient?

My case has been closed.

It took them less than 24 hours to close the case. No wonder their crime numbers look good. Honestly, you never feel the brunt of the system until you are in it.

The letter is dated 27 January, the same day I reported the crime. Not that it matters that a few days later I have a few phone numbers rung by the little gits who stole my phone. They can't do anything about a phone number unless it's been reported.

I love being a victim of a crime and how well we're treated.

Maybe I should move to America and buy a gun, at least then I'll know what to do when I find a thieving little git.

It's been a while

A short summary of my life....

It sucks.

Otherwise known as the day my bag got nicked. Was out Friday night with Bex having a last drink at "The Living Room" at Oxford castle when some inconsiderate bastard stole my bag.

Karma has it that the person who stole my bag will have something bad happen to them.
God probably has a few words about it as well.
I'm sure the universe will right the wrong.

Self-centered? Moi?

Life is boring, beyond the shooting myself in the skull boring. My brain feels like mush, my thesis looks like shit and I feel like crap (I'm coming down with a cold)

However, I do have a new Radley purse on the way *very lush, very excited*

and I can shop for a new phone :D

A complete and utter...

fraud. Here I am, sitting in a chair, watching words on a piece of paper, trying to understand and rearrange them to coherent thoughts.

It is a futile attempt. The words are rearranged at random in my head, there is no clarity. My thoughts feel as if someone has drowned them. I sit here and I think.

A fog clouds my brain and dulls my senses. I cannot even though I try.

Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2007! I enjoyed my New Year's Eve. I spent it at home by myself. Not in a crowded bar, not in a queue to get into a hip club, not wet and not cold.

Very pleased with that effect.

I did not however, write much more of my thesis, which is a great disappointment.

I turned on the radio today and by accident caught a man called Tim Minchin. A comedic musician who is undeniably very Laugh-Out-Loud. I was chuckling in the solitary seclusion of my room to myself. (Well, I do that anyways, but there's a good reason for it here!!)

And my new current favorite band is called The Feeling, who have very cool upbeats and sing-along-type songs. Not sure if that's how they would describe themselves.

I will not continue to sit in front of my computer and do something useful.
Maybe..
